Aversive is a BC-based drum & bass producer and DJ who has been shaping underground bass music since first experimenting with an MPC 2000XL in 2006. Drawing influence from drum & bass, jungle, and trip hop, her sound blends heavy basslines with melodic textures and gritty energy.

She has released music with labels including Dutty Bass Audio (Toronto), MalLabel Music (USA), Black Tuna Recordings (Canada), and The Outtallectual Collective (UK). The title track from her drum & bass EP Bone Breaker on Dutty Bass Audio was featured on the DnB Allstars “Under the Radar” podcast.

Aversive has performed for over a decade at electronic music festivals and events across Western Canada, including multiple appearances at the Village Stage at Shambhala Music Festival with the DnB Girls Takeover. She is an active member of the North America–wide collective the DnB Girls .
